Which one to buy for home PC ?

Hi,

I want to buy only CPU for home internet use only. I have good monitor and keyboard. Which one is good celeron or athelon ? my budget is 300$. \

For home use (non video intensive) Celeron is just fine.
Athlon is better obviously better.
