Is it easier 2 land as an Immigrant to Canada or in a job in the Gulf from India?
Immigration in Canada needs a minimum educational qualification, conversational skills , experience and monetary balance...... plus the waiting time period .
A well paying job in the Middle East needs most of the above and a stroke of luck. Though uncertainity is a part & parcel but veterans stop realising the value of an ME job.
Q is --- Is it easier to gain respectable entry into the ME than getting PR status in Canada ?
To minimise ambiguties lets say a Mechanical Engineer / Chartered Accountant 33 years old and having 7 years experience is looking for a mid level (AED 9k-10k) ME job or a Canadian Immigration . Which is more likely 2 come sooner ??
Alternatively from an ENTRANT Indian's point of view which s more valued ?

In my opinion, getting CA PR status is easier..........
The bloke should be extremely lucky to get AED 9k even with 5 years' experience.
My 2 cents.......

i can tell you about the value part.
so value depends on your objectives.
its individualized
some people may not be able to tolerate living in ME and some do
so no one answer here
Well all other things being constant for a new entrant , I believe he wud look more for money , lifestyle ,social structure , permanence and savings .
I agree that some may nt wish 2 stay in ME or for that reason even in the US but thats a personal preference . I have seen a lot of UK , US citizens working and living in the Middle East .
Q is --- as a new entrant how many have the Mid East option as against almost every1 who has the Canadian option ??
Q is ......... u dont get permanence in the ME ever which u get immediately upon landing Canada .But despite of that people are willing 2 return which a person doesnt think of while he is in the ME. Debatable huh?
So again I repeat from the point of view of an average Indian at entrant position which is sooner, easier and more valuable and more likely 2 b choosen ??? Canadian Immigration / Middle East job (AED 9k) ?
