Why are you planning to buy a home in Burlington? Do you work or live close to Burlington? In which you should already be aware what type of place it is.

In any case, to answer your question, yes it is a pretty decent town.

The answer to that can only be given by Ajmeri Baba and others like him.:D And they give 100% guarantee also.:D

More seriously, the resale value depends on the situation of the housing market at that time. It really cannot be predicted.

Please be very careful when dealing with real estate brokers. they will lie to any extent to get the sale done. i have had very bad experiences with them. they will push you to make an offer.

Hi Prabhuji,

I must commend your knowledge of the Real Estate market. Your advice on probable future value may be reasonable, however, your above statement dubs all Real Estate Agents as liars and dishonest. It is unfortunate that a wise person like you encountered "bad experiences" from some Agents who bring this profession to disrepute. Your statement also gives impression that you were dealing with more than one agent (concurrently?!), which is not a desirable situation and could also be a cause of litigation in some cases. If you had consented through a Buyer Agency Agreement to have sole agent represent you in any of the transaction(s) that you are referring to, and you felt cheated, you certainly do have a right to make a complaint to REAL ESTATE COUNCIL of ONTARIO ( www.reco.on.ca then click on Complaints CCD) and/or sue the agent for cheating in the court.

If all realtors were cheat, this profession would have been dead long time now. As in all walks of life, there may be some bad apples in this profession, I must however reiterate that there are infinite Realtors in the business whose only interest is their client's interest. Good Realtors are not hard to find. Ask your colleagues, friends and family members who have purchased a home through a Realtor for a referral. I can guarantee you that the list of referred agents will not be short. If you trust your instincts more than referrals from others, then talk to a few agents and hire one who you feel comfortable with. Establish a client/agent relationship by signing a contract which makes the agent not only legally binding to represent your interests, but also help in establishing trusted working relationship.

In the end, remember, finding a dream home requires both the agent and the client to work together.

This is the best challenge to prabuji . instead every one asked the site owners to contain him / expressed their anger .
I remember in my 7th calss english lesson, in which a charecter who rotates a thread , tied to a stone, around his head . He was ultimately told YOUR FREEDOM ENDS WHERE SOMEBODY's NOSE BEGINS
