I'll second that. If I had to do it again, I'd do it myself. But back in 1998 without easy internet access in India, you were not sure of the process.
When I first met my consultant, he even told me that the National Occupation Classification List information was only accessible by consultants...

I agree that consultants are "waste of money". But, our family would not have thought about Canadian Immigration, but for their "bugging phone calls".

Hi,
Did all my filing myself. I was lucky though to have 2 friends who had filed before me. So got their guidance. Did do a lot of reading on the immigration website though.
Subsequently helped a lot of people to file their forms at a very nominal cost of Rs.30 per page. Most of them got through. Infact some people who filed after me, came to Canada before I did.
No need of immigration consultants.
