Ok, what i personally feel is that if you really have to hire a lawyer/consultant, Go for immigration lawyer, as they know the laws and have abitily to appeal or re-appeal in front of attorney-general as it was done in my case, but consultants do not have ability to do that....everyone can become an immigration consultant where as everyone can not become immigration lawyer.....consultants are real post-offices as you mentioned in discussion, can't really say that about lawyers
