Dear All,

As you all know I landed on 25th Feb and since then I have been happy to see myself developing on the pre-set plans. I started a Call center job from the very 5th day of my landing and I remember of sharing about it on the forum. Honestly I had cut myself off from sharing further on my developments due to my own belief of staying away from debates which are non-productive and meaningless to be SUCCESSFUL.

Yes, I left the tel-sales job as soon as my WIFE got her first break through (exactly on the 39th day after landing) and we felt ourselves right on the PRE-PLANNED ROAD MAP. One would work and the other would develop. She is in her own field of BANKING and got hired by a leading bank.

I wanted to start my own practice in my own field, i.e. financial services. So from there on I started devoting full-time in the great MISSISSAUGA LIBRARY to start studying for various licences. Life Licence is considered to be one of the toughest (or at least seriously taken) exams and one has to clear it twice to get the full bottom lines of working.

Anyways, the days of hard work and dedication have finished and I have passed both the certifications. In fact before this I had already achieved my RESP results and thus your own VJ is now a full-fledged FINANCIAL SERVICES SOLUTION PROVIDER. I am quite happy that on exactly the 77th day of my landing I could complete my licencing needs. They said, clearing the final LLQP test in first attempt is not easy and even on the exam day I had 17 other candidates who were giving the exam second or third time. Off course honestly speaking my exposure of more then 3 years in INSURANCE world did help me to understand the concepts of the CANADIAN INSURANCE industry fast but there were many different topics. "YOU STILL HAVE TO HIT A FULL-TOSS TO THE BOUNDARY LINE"

Thus the journey of a 14 years experienced SALES PERSON has started with this. I strongly feel that only the land has changed, my belief of catering customers with FULL HONESTY, PROFESSIONALISM and COMPLIANCE would surely help me to put me again AT-PAR with what I was in INDIA.

Thanks to all and its early for me to demand your support for my business. As I believe in multiplying theory and hence would start fundamentally, by sharpening all my tools.

You are on the right path, VJ.

Go to places like temples, Swadhyay, etc. where you will get to meet lots of Indians & develop contacts. Develop contacts in the Gujarati Samaj, etc. & play a leading role in them.

Will help you to be successful.

This is an sincere advise from another sales professional with 15 yrs. of sales experience who is taking a longer time to settle down in Canada.
