I came to know from one of leading Indian Newspapaer that DDLJ is running in Maratha Mandir for consecutive 500 weeks(Almost 10 years).
Can you believe it?

DDLJ was a good movie. It looks it has beaten Sholey's record.
Kajol and Shah Rukh must me happy.

Yash Chopra, the maker of DDLJ, Great as producer and Director has one great weakness - awards and records.

At almost all award functions, his film would receive ( ? ) at least an award, and a new category will be created if his films do not fit in the existing ones.

Same with national awards. Somehow he would manage to bag an award here or there for his films.

The climax being " Dadasaheb Phalke ' Award , went to him, and not to his 10 times more deserving elder brother - B. R. Chopra.

Running of DDLJ is also another gimmick. That does not make it a better or bigger film than Sholay.
