This forum was really helpful in getting my questions answered. I finally got my passport from Buffalo. Below is the timeline. Appreciate and thank everyone for helping out to the individuals on this forum:

Acknowledgement Letter Dated: 11th Feb 2004

Medicals Issued and request for additional papers/docs: Oct 13th 2004
Waived interview and requested fingerprints from FBI (Fresh copy)

Request for Passport: April' 29th

Passport Sen't: May 2nd

Passport Recieved: May 25th

That was too quick. Probably it IS quicker from the US of A.

Satish: I'm not sure what you're looking for, but I applied by myself. Make sure your paperwork is proper. If you have all your documentation together, and perfect, it sould be a straight walk thru. They are very prompt in matters where documentation was perfect. It worked like clock work for me all through the process.

I personally feel they are very organized, and prompt keeping in mind 1000s of applications, they recieve.
