Your call. It is a bit surprising that after raising a point to this level, you're backing away from actual suggestions to a practical issue.

I guess my "moralistic high horse" comments weren't unwarranted after all. :)

Hi All,
Since I started this discussion.. let me put in my 2 cents.. I didn't mean to start flaming war.. I didn't even wanna go Hindu-Muslims and all.. to be frank I hate the religious nuts from all hues anyways so that wasn't the purpose. But it is interesting note that this moderator .. presumably decided to lock it so as to enforce some standards on the discussion:) I find it amusing choice.. typically cowardly and hypocritical Hindu response to muslim aggression..:) I guess old habits die hard.. At Macro scale it's the same way big media, politicians and everyone in India will keep mum about minority bullying and setting agenda for entire majority.. interesting to that at micro level..
Anyways.. issue's dead coz whatever's gonna happen is gonna happen .. Hindu culture is going to die a slow death over next 100 years anyways.. Question is who gets biggest pie of the hindu cake.. muslims with their territorial aggression or christians with their evangelical conversion... personally I prefer the latter.. atleast that way India can still be prosperous country.. albiet with different God.. but who really cares.. so long as basic tenets of hinduism like tolerance, respect for Women and concept of Karma are kept alive.. needless to say only way that can happen is Christianity becomes dominant coz if it's muslims.. future of India is bigger Pakistan or Afganistan..
Anyways.. please close this thread coz obviously you people are not smart enough to talk about it without putting censors and all.. my mistake in trying to find level-headed and Proud Hindus in Canada.. coz I guess all of those are in USA:)

LOL... so thats why the US is refered to as the 'land of proud hindus' in their anthem :D

I think Rush Limbaugh and ilk have a new enemy and a new topic to gripe about. Who knew that the greatest threat to right wing US would be right wing desis?

Maybe its time to page Art Bell instead.

Realising your own mistake and admitting it publicly is the first step towards sensible behaviour. You should make this a habit and find some more and admit them publicly - so that one day your thoughts become worth more than 2 cents, as you admit they are worth only that today today!!!

Ahh.. interesting comment you make indeed.. I think you should read your own post. Stalin would have been proud :D . I am moving on.. because..you have already put boundaries on the "suggestions"..somehow my exprience has been that when you do such a thing.. then brainstroming for good ideas is pretty much dead.

As for the "high horse" comment.. I have rarely cared about public opinion.. :) When I am done riding.. I will give it to you .. if you want ..

hehe...you can keep your horse. Ride it into yonderland, seems to be the idea anyways. :D Thanks for confirming my thoughts about grandiose ideas without much substance.

Ride on!

Wow! Thanks so much for validating my whole point here!

But hey, whenever bxmca puts all those big books down and actually does something, your ideas will probably get a special invitation. Party on! :p
