HINDUISM TEACHES US TO RESPECT, LOVE, UNITE, CARE FOR EACH OTHER, AND PREACHES NON VIOLENCE IN ALL FORMS AND BE TOLERENT AND RESPECT HUMAN RIGHTS.....

THE FACT IS :-
From what we see, hear, read - shamfully that - Hindu culture in India and outside India continues to breeds Caste division, Regional division, Religious division and practice, Caste profiling, Attitude of hate and suspicion, Disrespect their own, loss of trust and hope , gruop physical violence and death.

Non - Hindus see NRI Hindus continue this unhuman behaviour and pattern in shame in westen countrys

WHAT IS YOUR GOOD SUGGESTION TO THIS UNACCEPTABLE UNHUMAN BEHAVIOUR ?

huh?? That's grade A nonsense. Just because there are elements that propagate the above, that hardly says anthing about Hindus in general. Like Jake mentioned, the same things can be said about Muslims and Christians.

What's your point anyways?

If I m a Hindu, I shall bother about Hindus. Why should I bother about others, when others are not comfortable?
I am a Hindu by birth. I lived in four different states and seven countries in three continents, can speak four Indian languages. I lived with Hindus in all these places. I saw Hindus are divided in all these places. Can’t we call this as diversity?
So what if Hindus are divided. How boring if they are not divided.
To me, Indians are more divided in terms of language than in terms of religion. You will find it only when you see from outside India

probably true...there is a saying
''i'll call my sister a ho, but if anyone else does...i'll kill him''.

That being said there is always the danger that some crack head will choose the opportunity to denigrate hindus, just the cue the 'defenders' need to reciprocate in kind. Anyways why does everything have to be about religion or the things that divide?

One of the fantastic things about Hinduism is that it directly validates the many interpretations of God.

e.g:When Lord Krishna manifested himself in his true form(god), he had unlimited limbs, heads teeth etc. Without begining and end(alpha and omega of bible). According to *my interpretation* of this scene, Lord Krishna was validating the many interpretations of GOD that exist.

Even in the same family, members interpret god differently(however subtle). No two people have the same interpretation of anything, leave alone something as complex as GOD. Problems arise when we try to force our interpretations on someone else.

Religion is the root cause of all troubles in the world. So we should leave our religion baggage back in India and start afresh in canada.

No Topic should be "avoided" as long as the debate remains just that, a debate. Sadly desis have a bad habit of turning a debate into personal vendettas.

Religion becomes baggage if you choose to carry the various dogmas attached to it, so to rephrase Loser's suggestion (Ummm :D ), leave the dogma behind in India and carry only the religion. Think of religion as your contract with God, and as all contracts, this too is solely your Business :)
