Dear Massood ji,
my warm wishes. Massood ji can you let me know the rough idea of what`s being processed at New Delhi theese days. I have read your advice on New Delhi "apply it and forget it" however sometimes while deciding future course of action one does like to keep an idea of aproximate possibilities in future.
It has been very long they have been clearing 2002 files. When do they start 2003 cases. Has any applicant of 2003/new delhi got any news from CIC.(waiver/interview/or any other correspondence except for AOR)
Hope you dont find our enquiries troblesome.
regsrds and thanks in advance,
Preet

Hi Preet74
Its unending wait at CHC New Delhi. I started the process in July 02. Got file No in April 03. After that no news from CHC.
Its already 3 yrs since I applied. So much has moved in last three years.
Going by present speed it will take another 3-4 yrs.
Do you think is it really worth this wait.

Hello Vivek,
The countdown starts from the time you get your File No.
So your case will be counted from April 2003.
I don't know how far it is true, but some say that 2000 cases are completing their interviews, whereas 2001 (interview waivers)are getting their PR. In other words, 2002(Interview waivers) should get PR next year and 2001 should go for the interview. And so calculate accordingly.
Very very slow

Delhi processing is anyone's guess. The embassy website estimates 5 yrs for skilled apps. My experience of our cases at N/Delhi: they have started looking at 2002 cases and hoping to finalise by mid-2006. CAUTION: this may not apply to your case.

For Independent/skilled category, www.yogi799 is interesting and informative. It may give you an idea. It substantiates Masoodjee's opinion on the subject.
