Dear Indians, Indo-Canadians, senior desans & ex- gulf expats.
Since 3 years I stared to dream to land in Canada in skilled worker category, I passed my points system by 69 marks, now the time has come to decide, before taking any decision I thought this websites is best to ask questions & consult with senior peoples like you, let me describe about my self, 34 yrs old my edu-background, secondary school +DME+ FITTER, office (3years full time studies as act apprentice) & basic knowledge in MS ,I have been working in production field as foremen, since 11 years in Gulf, 4 years in Air-condition manufacturing company & 7 yrs in Iron & Steel industries, I browsed many websites the articles what I read is only eng’s,Dr;s, bachelor degree professions are migrating to Canada after landing in initial stage they are struggling like any thing to survive by living their high status in INDIA, GULF, etc, with God grace now here in Gulf I am leading a peaceful life with my family I own a car and 3 bedroom flat etc, my earnings is about 1500 CD, savings 800CD, Basically I am a hard worker I am ready to do any kind of job in initial stage in Canada.

1. Based on my qualifications and work experience whether I will be qualified in skill workers class? And which immigration consultant I have to approach?
2. Can I get a job based on my qualifications and work experience?
3. It is advisable to land in Canada with family?
4. With this qualification what kind of job I will get in Canada at initial stage? And how much I will be paid, it is manageable to live with family? And how many years I have to struggle?

I have drafted this letter to all senior peoples like you, based on your replies, I will decide to move to Canada or not.

Thanks.

Hi mountain,
Based on ur work profile, you will be able to survive here with same earnings but no savings.Labour jobs are abundant here if you are a hard working guy.But before making decision think on these lines twice

1. If you apply now,the processing time is 48-60 months. So you will be in and around 38-39 yrs of age.So in 40's will you be able to do this type of work with the same zeal what you might be doing now:(

2. What's your motive to come to Canada if you already have everything plus saving CAD800:D . For this type of saving and comfort you have to atleast put 4-6 yrs of constructive time and energy and yes your luck line should be strong enough for its sustainence

3.Last but not the least would you be able to keep your last job intact for 2-3 yrs.If yes come here and try your luck.If successful:cheers: or not back to your last job without feeling guilty.

Himmate marda to madade khuda.........

IF you think you've got what it takes to succeed then dont hesitate and start the process , on the other hand if its a big risk and you cant afford to then the present situation you are in does not sound too bad.

Nocanadatoday,

Why are you even on the forum if you hate Canada so much? What are you some sort of activist leader who wants to stop all new immigrants from entering Canada? For the time you spend researching articles and posting them away here maybe you should do something worthwhile. Here is an idea- Get off the forum!

Many people don't want to put their success stories online. I mean it is a privacy issue. But then again how do you define success? Is getting your first earnings in Canadian dollars a success? Or Getting your first job in a foreign country no matter what that job entails? or is it simply the satisfaction of landing in Canada after waiting for what seems eternity?

I guess nothing will satisfy you. People like you will always spread the negativity no matter what.

If you are so much of a great activist just leave the country.

I believe the processing time is much shorter if you apply from the Gulf...and not 48-60 months, which is the case for New Delhi.
