May be the successful people are too busy leaving this site to the mercy of negative posts........

Everybody will quote and post. It is upto us to read from all but be wise enough to take the inspiration from good posts, avoid mistakes made by others.
A good man learns from his mistakes and takes care not to make the same mistake again.
A wise man also learns from others mistakes too..

I think settled and successful immigrants hardly find any interest in the discussion.

I do see their posts on the board. You just have to find them(like golden eye mentioned). All of them may not have the time for protracted arguments(now dont blame them for not being more altruistic). Some may not be able to afford the most of the time. Some not at all. The rarer the stones the more valuable they are.
While trying to quit smoking, I used to validate my reasons to do succumb to the temptation by very logical arguments. I see the same type of process on this board. It is only natural. I personally struggle with the same attitude everyday too...but the endgame to me is not the validation for how I 'feel' but rather what is it that will take me further and beyond this 'feeling'? What is it that I am hoping to 'achieve'? Is this 'feeling' holding me back from my goals? However, all this takes a lot of courage to face upto...especially when you are going from one setback to another. The easiest way to validate your problems are by pointing outside of yourself. That may explain the many posts bashing Canada etc.
'Reality' is different for each individual. An Individuals perception drives their reality. Change your perception and you can change your reality. This is probably the difference between 'Terry Fox' and someone who just lies back and decides to die when going through the same issues. His perception about what he could do inspite of his health did not change his health but it did change his legacy.

Hi !
I agree - Successful people here surf the opportunities to make money rather than surfing this site . By surfing I mean commenting . They forget that any of their post might be of tremendous help to newcomers .
