Processing of Parents Sponsorship Applications After 24th June 2003

As everyone interested in this toppic must have observed, CIC website says that applications up to 24th June 2003 are processed and this status has not changed for about an year now.

One of my friends received a letter last week asking him for some information about sponsorship application made by him in Setember 2003 and also asked him to submit latest IT assessment, salary letter etc. Looks like finally processing of applications has restarted.

Please post if anyone has received response for applications made after 24th June 2003.

Hi Reachash,

The link you mentioned is for cases where medicals are done for parents and waiting for visas. I am talking about the cases where the clearence is not yet given by CHC, Mississauga.

Thants really good news. I applied for my parents last July 2004. After that i only received one letter saying to wait. its been more then a year now but no responce from CIC.
Vijay can you please find from your friend that, he send already those documents before with the application or he didn't submit them at all.
i wish my parenst come as soon as possible.

Sorry abt that, earlier, I didn't read your Q properly. When I read the dates you mentioned (june 2003), I never imagined it could be for sponsorship approval. The delay in approving sponsorship is ridiculous. I wish you all the best.
