Yesterday I got the card. Still regret for giving up Indian citizenship and passport. But at least I am happy with what I got yesterday. The canadian passport has been stamped with the visa and a seperate registration card is given.

Don't regret . Soon all the countries of the world are going to be swallowed up by super powers and there will be only handful of countries left. So you wont need visas anymore. All the states in India were individual countries and they fouught wars among themselves. But now they are one country. similar things are going to happen globally. So in the future if India captures Canada or they merge together into one country then you will be Hindustani again.
So keep your fingers crossed.
About Hindustan time will only tell if it is the swallower or gets swallowed.
