While going through current events/news in Fiji. I started wondering about how many countries have a sizable Indian population that go back a few generations and are active in the politics of the country.

1) Malaysia
2) Mauritus
3) Suriname
4) Guyana
5) South Africa
6) Canada
7) USA?
8) Australia?

Anymore to the list....

Take out name of USA from the list. If you see the population of USA and Indians, there are handful Indians (mostly are 2nd or 3rd generation) are in politics. Even Hispanic is 2nd biggest population but they don’t have big political influence in DC. Only New Mexico Governor is the Hispanic background that I remember.
