Looking for properties in the Central Pkwy/Eglinton area in Mississauga. How is the neighborhood? Any fellow CD's living in and around that area?
What are you looking for in this neighbourhood would be my question. It is easier to answer whether the area offers what is important to you...schools/public transit/highway access/shopping/facilities.....
However, this probably is one of the nice neighbourhoods of Mississauga. It is close to Square One, Hwy403, other amenities and has mixed community living.

I am not familiar with the schools in this area, but otherwise this area is excellent. I live in this area.
Thanks Rajeev & Yellowknife for your replies.
Yellowknife: Good to know that you are in that area. We have almost zeroed in on a property. To be close to the freeway, sq. one was definitely high on our list. So where exactly are you? We would be moving from downtown, so yes, looking for friends to generally hang out with..
If you have a high school going kid, I would not advise you to live there. It has perhaps the worst high school of GTA- TL Kennedy- includes gun violence as I have been told.

Thanks Chandresh for the heads up...we don't have a high schooler but still after your post I did call up Peel District School Bd to find out which school would fall under this zone. I was told that the closest elementary school would be Nahani Way PS and the Secondary School would be Applewood Heights. How are these schools? Do you know anything about them? Anything I need to be aware of...thanks for your help.
