God bless India and hope the treaty is not approved by the US Congress...

With this agreement it is big MNCs like GE will be benefited with businesses estimated to be around 160 billion US$, with India doing the imports. There is nothing for the common man in India. As for the technology, USA and others will be eager to sell the upholstery and the dials on the dashboard. Our politicians will not check whether there is engine under the bonnet as long as they get their share of the booty. Even if they are caught, somebody like Natwar Singh will be made scapegoat. But there is no point in bothering about our freedom to test nuclear weapons. After 1974, India was afraid to test another weapon till 1998. After testing, PM and his deputy both octogenarians, would chant the mantra “Pakistan must stop cross border terrorism”, waking up in the morning and while retiring to bed in the night, but in between were afraid to point even a crow killing gypsy rifle at the terrorist training camps on the other side of the border. We were not bothered about 100s of our brave soldiers losing their lives every year. Our concern was that India Inc’s oil refinery set up in the border town should not get hit and the sensex should not fall.
