Dear Applicants,

This new article is created because we all want to know what is the present processing time for old applicants (applicants prior to June 2008)

Maybe the CHC is presently processing cases that of June 2004. we are not sure!

As per the declared timelines, it takes around 60 months for status updation & another 12 months for you to get the medical papers.

So my request to all old applicants is

a) if you have recently got a letter regarding status update or
b) if you have got your medical papers

Please mention

a) when you have applied month, year
b) when have you got your status update letter or medical papers

this will help us to estimate the present processing time & keep spirits high.

Dear Sir

I have applied for PR in Dec 04 and file number was provided in Mar 05.

I have also received an email asking to resubmit the docs along with police certificate etc in Dec 08 and was duly submitted in Jan 09 (within 1 month). After that there is nothing.

Any help will be welcome....
