basically national parties are on a slow death path. While the regional parties are getting stronger and stronger. We may see new Govt in late 2018 ( not in next 2014)
where the govt consist of only regional parties. federal system may become more robust with more power to states and less centralization on Delhi.
the core Hindi heartland is in the grip on regional parties. So is the case with south India. It is matter of time before andrapardesh( remaining congress south stronghold) will have jagan reddy's regional party in power.
Also good to see akalis get the power again in Punjab. This time so many hindu akali MLAs. That is called real secularism
