The movie Kabali which is one of the most awaited release has been banned by Cineplex. This is because there were some pepper spraying incidents in a tamil movie earlier. But this is clearly racial profiling. Would they ban english movies if something like this was to happen?How can be take action against this? Will going to human rights help. It is not about movie but this is about racial profiling.

Haha, if it was not clear, I was not very serious. I didnt think that something like this warrant a human rights complaint. However seems like you believe in this, so good luck.
Tamil movies probably form a very small percentage of revenue for Cineplex, so they can choose to not to bring Tamil movies to its theaters vs the risk of bringing it and some untoward incident occurring. If incident like the pepper spray incident occurred when a major Hollywood movie was on, they would have been forced to take some other steps because their profits will take a hit. This step does work out in favor of cinemas like Woodside in Toronto and they will be showing 9 shows every day of the Tamil version from July 21st.
