I read from posts 1 till now. Initially I had not, once I started, it was almost like a 5 point someone. :-)

Thanks a lot to all who asked and who responded. Now I know what all I could have done for prospective BE students in India, seeing how such a forum helps. Was thinking if each of these questions had to be answered to each of the individual who had the questions, there wont be enough time to help all, and also new people with same questions wont have the answers. Thanks all.

BE from Anna Univ in Mech

Exp :
2.5 years in CTS. Developers.

Interest : Web design (PHP)

Courses looking for in order of preference :
1. MBA
2. MSc
3. Diploma - Web Design
4. Diploma - Business

Constraints :
1. Budget around 15 Lakhs + a little more total for tuition and living for 2 years.


Am I correct in my understanding?
1. I wont get an MBA or Msc (any accredited college) and be able to live in Canada for around INR 15 Lakhs.

Questions:
1. If I can proove my web design skills with a original portfolio, will it be possible for me to get a job as a full time web designer?
2. As I cant apply for jobs without a Work Permit, am planning to do some course (Web Design diploma - 13 lakhs - from Gerogian) and then apply (Since my BTech is in mech, the only education i will have is a diploma in web design), do you think it is possible to secure a job?

I am working at University level after completing M.tech in computers and b.tech in computer since last 4 years. My visa been rejected 3 times for USA for Phd program for fall 2011.

Now, i applied for university of manitoba for phd program. I am waiting for the reply from university side.

can anybuddy suggest me whether university is good or not. what is visa success rate for that university.

what are my chances of getting visa after 3 rejection for usa.

Intermediate in Maths, Physics , Chemistry with 65-70%.
High School with 74%.
IELTS : Speaking - 6.5
Listening - 7.0
Reading - 5.5
Writing - 5.5

I've Applied for Fairleigh Dickinson University , Vancouver for MAS in Cyber Security & Forensic Adminstration for Fall 2013 i.e., September-2013 Intake on 28-March 2013, and it is Confirmed (Not Accepted) on 15-May-2013, and Received a mail from Adminstrative Officer that ( We have Received all your Documents , and admission acceptances will be sent after 15-June-2013 ).

Help Me in the below Mentioned Cases :

1. Will i Get Acceptance with Above Mentioned Academic Profile ?

2. Is my IELTS Band Score Enough for both Admission (Since FDU Requirement is 6.0 and i fulfilled it), Visa ?

3. If i Get Acceptance from FDU by June 15 , is Time Enough for applying VISA for September Intake ?

4. Will my Backlogs in Graduation Play a role in Visa , Admission ?

5. What More Academic Standards , Improvements do i need ?
