I liked the Indian railway website.

http://www.indianrail.gov.in/

According to that the I st class AC fare between Mumbai - Jaipur a distance of 1000 Kms
is only 3500 Rupees which is like 100 $.

I dont belive it. Is this the latest fare or maybe when this website was made a couple of years ago.

When I went to India this time I realized Indian Railways is now more expensive than Air travel..
Fare from Delhi to Mumbai in Rajdhani 1st Class is more than the Apex fares in Indian Airlines..
