Kajol, Kunal Kapoor extend support for cause








New Delhi, Feb 16 (IANS) Actors Kajol and Kunal Kapoor, along with a bevy of celebrities have extended their support to a 'Ramp for Champs' initiative, to help educate under-privileged children.

As many as 25 celebrities from various spheres of life will walk the ramp with the children to support their aspirations.

The show to be held Feb 17, will be streamed live on iStream.

"The entire iStream team is excited to be a part of this great cause. We believe that digital media can play a hugely supporting role to promote this noble cause. By streaming this event live, we should be able to reach out to millions around the globe who would be keen to support these brilliant children," Radhakrishnan Ramachandran, founder and CEO of iStream.com, said in a statement.

Others who will be seen on the runway are choreographer-director Remo D'Souza, author Chetan Bhagat, singer Mohit Chauhan, Miss India Vanya Mishra, former Miss India Manasvi Mangai, actors Jackky Bhagnani, Claudia Ciesla, Meiyang Chang and Hiten Tejwani, celebrity photographer Daboo Ratnani, former VJ Maria Goretti and cricketer Anjum Chopra.

Hirani in awe of Mandawa Haveli

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who is busy shooting for his new film "Peekay" in Rajasthan, stumbled upon a hotel named Mandawa Haveli and was so fascinated by its architecture that he decided to stay there.

Mandawa is approximately 190 km away from Jaipur. The filmmaker came across the 300-year-old haveli, which is now converted into a three-star hotel called Mandawa Haveli.

Smitten by the age-old architecture and structure, Hirani asked his production team to work on the logistics so that he could stay there.

"Peekay" features Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead.

Bips, Nawaz's unique chemistry in 'Aatma'

Actress Bipasha Basu is all praise for her "Aatma" co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and says he often jokes about their chemistry.

"It is always the presence and confidence on screen that shows! And Nawaz shines with all that," Bipasha tweeted.

Sharing the acclaimed actor's take on his reel chemistry with her, Bipasha said: "Cutest thing Nawaz said about his and my unique chemistry in 'Aatma', that I am taller than him."
