The housing is quite cheap (almost half prices compared to Mississauga) in these areas and hoefully your car insurances as well. With most now having the option to work from home, the commute is not going to be that great of an issue. Main concerns are things like schools and how the kids will adjust to a "mainly white only" scenarios. What do you guys think? T

( I am not sure about savings in the gulf) but you can save the most living in the US. cost of living is low(food, etc. is extremely cheap, taxes are lower) ( of course in the gulf I guess there are no taxes) and salaries are decent.

Secondly the rumour is that every third file is taken for finger printing and if your last name is a common name or there is chance of your name being very common you would need finger printing and your file gets delayed.    Icici is as good or as bad as any Indian bank: ...he service. Like seeing a glass half full or half empty . It is your choice. Do not expect service like TD bank.....or so. Useful if you frequently transfer money to India , that too if you have an account in ICICI India and ICICI Canada. Otherwise there is a hefty charge for transfers. I still believe SBI Canada is the best in Indian banks except that they are not open on saturdays or late in the evenings.
