But otherwise I have compared prices between Vancouver & LA and whilst the range of stuff available is more, there is not that big a difference in prices. The downside is that with a 14% tax on everything (except food) the prices do become more than US prices. You must remember that Canada has a population equal to California! So with less consumers, obviously prices will be higher! ...

That is considered as illegal. 3 year old will need a passport, but it is not required if you are entering US by road. Keep the child's birth certificate (having the parents' names) with you. But having passport is the best thing.

   ...
Originally posted by Aashu .............I was not joking when i said if they would wait till 8:00 pm. In fact i have seen many Desi's come with a week's supply of food (chapathi and subji) and i have seen many willing to wait for 4 or 5 hrs. after arrival, seeing the airport in Turns. Anyway , as you had mentioned, you donot expect your guests to wait and i hope that someone else volunteers to help you during working hours. TK
Sure enough! They have thosands of $ for air tickets but do not have $20 for taxi!

Life: Summer Camps 2013
Started by: Aashu on 06 May 2013
SUMMER CAMP: ..., 11 day and 15 day outing with a group of kids will not suit the requirements of a few. If they are groomed into eating all kind of foods that the locals offer to the rest of the kids and eat Ham and Eggs for Breakfast, then, there are a lot of camping programs available to you or anyone. Lions and Kiwanis are the first that I would contact. I will leave the Scouts and the Girl Guides out of the equation for now. Seeing Vaughn in your address, I accessed the Vaughn area camping. Here are the links. Some are 11 day programs and the costs are given here. Also note the after hours care costs. http://www.summercampatveneto.com/Our_Program.html This one is Six day Five Night outing...

...I filed in Aug 2003 for my parents and last month I got a letter from CPC, Mississauga saying expect delays since now the focus is on Professional Categories rather than Family sponsorship. The letter doesn't mention how much it would be dealyed. The e-status shows last file picked up was of date 24 June 2003. And this message if there for almost 5 months. I don't know whats the deal. First there is delay from here then in India they increased the processing time from 18 months to 48 months. So it can take almost 6-7 years before you
