   ...om with cubicles and out of that 20 or so were chinese, 10 desis and rest americans. I can testify that chinese food overpowered curry :D . But Nobody seemed to care. Here in Canada when I was working at least on few occasions I got looks during lunch time when I used to bring food and eat it in office. Weird thing the food was not even indian. It was chinese spicy peanut sauce on rice. But it did let of a good deal of aroma (for the person who was eating) and stink(for who were not). The requirement for dress codes change with how the industry is doing. At its peak you could walkin to an interview in Jeans and t shirt and you would still be hired and now you could do all you want an...

A fee for that permit is C$39.00 for a day. If we opt to go this way we will have better choice of parks. In Mississauga some parks have shaded area (just in case of rain) and BBQs too. By getting permit we can be assured not to be disturbed by other group picnics in the park on same date. Any immigrant (say a couple who are ready to work but only one got a job) is still eligible for food bank. Know that many food banks stuff goes to the waste as there are no much takers. Food banks set a limit on distributing based on the population that came the previous week. Many come in cars to pick up food. So let the OP feel free or be ashame...

   ...i have seen an india born canadian crew member of air canada (guy with french cut beared) misbehaving with indian pessengers and making fun of them with his gori counterparts. it was a very bad scene. though he was harsh to indians but was very polite to goras. the indian pessengers were not demanding wine but they were asking for veg food which this crew member of air canada was short of. what do you say? the whole scene made me hate that guy.

So reading ur natural reaction took me back in time as i had very similar feelings........ As far as indian food is considered , there is one pakistani restaurant called mehraan . Its north of church st near church and gerrard street. I dont know how far its from ur residence but its about 5 dollars per head and the food is ok. Another thing u may want to do is write the driving test exam as u have some spare time now. Dont buy the book as u can borrow it from any desi bhai/bahan living/working near ur residence. Again

I am offered CAD 80K per annum + other benefits (health insurance, bonus etc.) . Is this a good offer to accept? We are a family of two (me and wife only). What will be the standard living cost in Mississauga for a small family (rent for 1 bed room apartment, other costs)? Now I am getting INR 1 Lakh per month in India.
