Leaders do make a difference .... hence the word "Lead" ... they have too take initiative to leave a mark. We can't blame the Indian people for corruption. Nevertheless, the indian people do need to blamed for refusing to acknowledge that the final and absolute buck stops with them. They are able to throw governments and parties which don't deliver out of power. Repeatedly the Indian electorate have elected CONgress into power despite all the corruption that used to take place. OP makes $ 10,000 and the poor gullible person makes $ 500 for 200 hrs of his work ..guess who is successful here :)[/quote] Looking at it from a different perspective - this could be the motivation/opportunity for the commissio...

Business: Pet Business (Dog)

Why big deal: ...Whenever i go to india, i always feel sad in seeing so many poor / destitute people in the bus stands, outside restaurants, Railway stns., etc.... What is the big deal about breeding a dog in india and selling it in Canada. if you people are this much concerned about the feelings of a dog, how much more should you be concerned with the life of a human being. Isn't the Human worth much more than a Dog? TK A...

General: What to take to India and What to buy from India?
Started by: chattersking on 10 Sep 2014
...Febpreet, Just for your information, all that you mentioned to take to parents from Canada, is available in cheaper prices than Canada (excepting jacket for winters and Multivitamins). So taking those may not impress them.b I agree with what you have said to bring from India. Recently we were gifted some items from London (food items). Same was available in India for much cheaper prices. For example, we got some breakfast bars from Marks and spencers marked as 1.99 pounds which is Rs 60 in Pothy's superstore in my town. we were also gifted Lays chips from London, while the same is available in corner stores in India Murali The Krishna

Our Native Country!: Merging OCI and PIO
Started by: MKBLR on 24 Sep 2014
...It looks like some big mess up is coming and BLS and consulate will make some money in between! How will they merge the rules? 1. OCI and PIO have weird rules, if one one of the parents is foreign citizen only then the child can get OCI, if both parents are Indian citizens then the child who is a foreign citizen can only get PIO. 2. For OCI, dual citizenship has to be allowed by the foreign country whose citizenship you are taking (no idea why this rule is even there when OCI is in no way citizenship of India). 3. PIO is processed in the consulate outside India whereas as OCI processing is done in India. 4. Persons under the age of 21 have to reapply for OCI everytime they...
