I mean powerful Mumbai lobby of S.Pawar, Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri , Vgarkar are nothing but jockers and they damaged Indian cricket more. ...

But there are a handful of good indian restaurants, a thriving punjabi community (as well as desi) and relatively better traffic (although it sucks during the peak time). Gas is cheapest in Calgary and all over Alberta. Rest are all a bit expensive than the other provinces (don't let me start about the food prices). Houses are relatively cheaper to buy than ON or BC. It was the same thing in grad school in the States - Indian professors would make Indian research students work twice as hard for the same amount of money compared to an American. One of my friends even mowed his professor's lawn on weekends! Also regarding work culture - I really don't want to work on weekends. Work life balance is one of the pluses here, unlike India where long hours, and a few weekends a month are seen as the norm. In long term, it is harmful to strictly follow this type of diet consisting of pills and shakes. All the best in your weigth management process. Please keep us posted as that will be helpful for all.
