And you can have someone order food (and know what you are ordering) for you in Quebec if you decide to go on a holiday one day :) the only downside i see is that us desi's generally tend to fret when we are not completely in control of the homework situation or if our child does not come home with all A's. If you can live with the fact that the child is only given the homework that they are expected to be able to handle (and doesnt need your intervention) and the initially the child may not get all A's, its a great program. The child is getting to be bilingual in french .. much much better than just learning it as a second language. Again, i recomm...

   Picture of the day.: ...ct, all it did was made me smile. I don't think the poster had anything more in mind than mild humour in posting the pic. Moreover, what was, or is, so wrong in showing a pic of an Indian style lavatory? I am sure, quite a few desis, especially those that have been firmly accustomed to the desi way of crapping, must indeed be missing the squat. Although I myself prefer the commode for comfort, I have to say that the desi style is far better in terms of hygiene. As far as possible, I try and avoid using public toilets here. If you have multiple insurance policies with a company (auto, car) they should provide you with a bundled discount. I'm not too sure about the availability of flood insurance as most of my clients have only obtained the basic home insurance policy from their respective insurance company. Maybe an insurance expert can better answer this question...

   So here is how I found the routes to be: ... the way to NY. traffic was moderate and so was the toll ($USD10?) Very good road. Not scening though except that last stretch. On way back travelled thru Pennsylvania, and the route is thru mountains, but very scenic. No toll till syracuse. No gas station either !!! Does have a few rest stops with washrooms but no food joints or you have to exit. Very nice winding roads. much less toll as the other one. I did 70-80 mph but have been told by many that in US they do fine you if you are above $73 mph. ...

The 1-800 people ask to to press so many choices first then after about half hour wait you talk to someone who is very slow (it is usually not indian people on these slow call centres). they spend most of the time to confirm your numbers, postal codes, and DOB etc and less time on your problem after that they say they will look into it.
