In 2002, there was a Andhra restaurant, where you had to wait and clean dishes and help in the cutting. Work was 10 hrs a day or so with 6 days a week work. The compensation was free shared accomodation, food and tax free $1000 a month. I did not ask about the tips. But they expected commitment for atleast 1 year....
