   ...Hi CD's Would recommend "Nilgiris" for veg South Indian food. It is located on Markham Road just off Mcnicoll. This is run by a couple from South India and the taste reflects it. Try the veg buffet on weekends, the quality is good and the price is reasonable too.

   ... 401 Congrats You will find that commuting to guelph on a normal day for 50 minutes is less stressfull than driving for 25 mins in peak mississauga traffic In Guelph there is only rush minute (no rush hour) :-) If you dont know already, when you are driving from Mississauga take the Hwy 6 S exit instead of the Hwy 6 N exit and go north. (it is one ext before) Then drive along gordon st (also called brock road) till you reach stone road, you may save 5 mins (depending on traffic) but you will definately save 2$ worth of gas in one day

I have not tried the dosa varities yet. may be the next time. Definitely a change from SB. Even though the nutritional value of the food served in McDonald or Dominos can be questioned, what we need to learn is the way these businesses are run. I mean we can have a fusion ... something like a haldiram store where you serve the traditional indian food but in a clean enviroment. Till maybe even mcdonald starts serving samosa burger and dosa wraps !!!! What is wrong with multiplexes?????    ...Most of the reasons you state seem to be reasons to remain in India. Why do we feel so scared to move outside of our circle of comfort? You talk of food as an example....how many people even try other cuisines? The positives in going to another country is to experience the culture (food being one of the facets) there, not just do pot-luck parties where families cook their sambar/mutton rogan josh or what have you.
