Ask Immigration Expert: OCI visa sticker question
Started by: kulb on 22 Sep 2015
... I renewed my Canadian passport just now, and I want to go India. (1) Can I use my old Indian passport which has 'u visa sticker' along with 'OCI Card' and new Canadian passport to travel there? I just want to avoid all procedure to apply to get a sticker for a new passport because as I heard they are asking tremendous papers again. If someone has any idea about it, could you please guide me. Thanks AVG.

Ask Immigration Expert: First Name missing and How to correct it?
Started by: smartnfast on 07 Dec 2015
...If I were you I would not change names in the middle of a process. If not applied for immigration , get it changed in the Indian Passport. If already applied for immigration , migrate and then work towards citizenship .. Once that done and Passport received , you can get it changed in Canada later. No complications because of this even if you leave it unchanged.
