   ...passport from one country to another is not legal. I have been told by Indian embassy that they cancel the passport if it is caught being sent from one country to another and then it takes lot of time to get replacement.I have also been told by courier companies(I dont remember name) that they cannot accept passports for international destinations. However within the country is not a problem.

Although its a personal decision but appreciation in property is higher in India then here and I would have kept the properties in India for a couple of more years till the exchange rate and real estate was good in India .... and take extra mortgage here .

   ...For service industry, job prospects of a fully bilingual are bright here. If you are good at spoken English(without thick indian accent) and equally good french, I don't think you'll have hardtime getting a job in customer service. Hence, you may want to get goin for french. inquire which acctg. softwares are widely used here. I know about SAP R3, oracle, peoplesoft, etc... but you need handson experience of these programs.

Is that a thing you don't like or is it a financial/funding issue? Or is viability of business an issue? That maybe of advantage as both of you can work there and may give you flexible hours.
