I have only done an urgent 1 day issue based on a passport that was expiring in a month or so.

Ask Immigration Expert: Indian police and FBI clearance
 Started by: kak2 on 14 Feb 2004
...in the US for 3 years and am now back in India. I am thinking of submitting my PR application soon.Should I submit FBI clearance to CHC Delhi along with the local PCC, work letters, transcripts, etc.....or should I wait for them ask me to submit FBI clearance? I suppose the clearance from FBI expires in a few months and a fresh one is needed. But isn't that applicable to someone who's residing in the US and not for someone like me who doesn't live in the US anymore? Please advise. Thanks for your help!
