Looks to be an easy decision.: ...To the OP - Compared to the Indian take home salary you would have quite a decent jump in the take home in Canada. If you are a 2 person family you should be able to save decent after the tax cuts. If you are more than a 2 person family then too, with sensible expenses, you could save a good chunk. Suggest that you get your PR & the citizenship (plus the OCI) and till then you'd have understood the work culture & can go with the Pro points which matter most

Sadly, an Indian degree does not receive as much attention as it should deserve. The job market is not very tight here and every posting attracts at least 300 applications. If companies can find an experience well qualified applicant in Canada or USA, it is less likely to hire someone from overseas. Please bear in mind that I am not discouraging you but these are the facts.

Education has its value: ...ages posted in this discussion forum. I would like to say one thing, Education never goes a waste. I agree people like Bill Gates were school drop-outs but later in their lives they also realised the value of education. So my advise to all my fellow-desis here in Canada is to be patient and have faith that we will all succeed one day, becoz Indian education is recognised world-wide, its just that over here in Canada we have to come into their system so it takes time but we have to be patient. Regards, Faiz

...Mde it there investpro but i guess it wasn't easy to spot people we didn't know :) The show was good except i don't understand why belly dancing was involved? That's not indian and the look on the little children's faces was interesting considerng the belly dancers were 'all intheir face'. Over all good show with a fews slow moments and I felt bad for zameer, they tried to get hte crowd going but alas... and then the announcer comes and says, no more of that rock stuff... crushed Zameer's mojo there :) When and where is the Mossaic?

Our Native Country!: India loses maximum lives to terror except Iraq

...Agree with the above post. Who cares about people who are dying due to the reasons that could easily be taken care of, and endless lives can be saved? All the Indian polititians care about is their pockets, as they know they can easily get away with that. Ever heard about the good ol' scamsters 'P V Narsimharao, Chandraswami, Lalloo 'chara' Yadav, and bunch of Goonda polititians'? Nothing has done despite of the court ruling. Media - yes. All the way passionate about the news which is not at all a news and issues that hold no significance. Simply hopeless!!
