...Hi folks! I'm new here. I plan to apply for Canada PR this year. 1. Is it a good idea to apply through a consultancy (like WWICS, Visa Master etc)? These consultants charge about 50-60k, but claim that they will help us with documentation et al. 2. Does our Indian work experience count when I start looking for jobs in Canada? Or is it the case that all new immigrants start with 4-5k pay checks? I'm asking this because I'm hearing that a lot of immigrants starts with low salaries (like 4-5k).

The only escape for the country, we are invariably told by agricultural scientists, is to follow the American model. Such an approach would provide impeccable drought-proofing. And it is primarily for this reason that corporate agriculture is being pushed as the way out from the crisis that afflicts Indian agriculture. By a strange coincidence...

Moving Soon: Question regarding settlement funds
Started by: DesiTiger on 24 Apr 2004
Funds from India: ...ry 75% of this amt with us and would it be OK to carry our bank statements for the balance 25%. This would then enable us to avoid breaking some of our Fixed deposits. We are a family of 5 and so would carry along with us more than the amt specified by the CHC website for a fly of 5. Will they consider Indian bank statements (ICICI bank) too ? Awaiting some advice on this matter Fernades

Our Native Country!: Kaun Banega Pardhan Mantri?

...ied now as Congress and its pre poll allies have done really well. So they plus the left parties with 50 plus seats can make a government. I am not sure how much seats NCP (Sarad Powar) and Lalu has got, but the government will be basically much stable than expected. I respect Left parties much more than any of the North Indian regional parties. At least they have some ethics!! If Congress+ have gotton less than 200 seats that the situation might be different. I think BJP is still single largest party.
