   ...Dear CD Friends, I'm back to Canada after a good trip to India via London. I stopped in London while going as well as coming and on both the occassions I got 24 hrs. visa in Transit. The first time the emigration lady however did ask me to apply for Visa in advance (as I would need one to transit being an Indian citizen) but she issued one. While coming back again they issued me the visa. So overall it was very smooth and great! Thanks for all the encouragement. Kisi

We are planning to travel to Canda 15th of July. Do we have any problem in the Mumbai airport or do we have to clear ECNR . If sao what is the proccedure I surch this form , not published.    ...I am working in canada with hrdc applrocal since 2003 and had done a mistake and applied in indian and not in bufflo in may 2004 i got my file number but applier in feb 2004 . I want to know if there is a way i can expedite the proacess like sending a letter from employer that my job is for indefinate time or should i close and start all over at buffalo and explain them the situation. Please advise the best possible way. and how much more time i will haave to wait if i continue my file at delhi office. Thanks Gagan

   ...Aravind Adiga of Mangalore won the Booker Prize of 50,000 pounds for his first novel. A few years ago a lady from Kerala won the prize and that too was for her first novel. Ever since she won the prize, she has been in the limelight and uttering statements on and off to the effect of undermining Indian nationalism. The statement that India should allow Kashmir to cede was viewed with great consternation by none other than our retired Chief of Staff, V.P. Malik. Let us hope that the latest winner does not join the bandwagon.
