...
Originally posted by chekram_04 It is amazing:) to know that Standard Chartered Bank issued an Indian Rupee bank Draft payable at Toronto . I think you should take chances with ICICI or State Bank of India Canada may be they can help you out.
I don't think OP meant that it is issued in Toronto, OP wants to know whether it is cashable in Toronto. India does not allow INR to be taken outside India, so I do not think it would be possible to cash it outside India.

It was mentioned that some form has to be uploaded by the customer (me) online etc. The language was too technical and I could not follow much of this jargon. Could you throw some light on what has changed and how it affects any remittances I may need to make in the future? Answer The procedure for the remittance process has been modified from...

Study: What are job chances in Canada?
Started by: Vivek on 05 Feb 2003
...give a damn about 'social acceptance'! Social acceptance depends to a large part on the individual. To me, a bankers job is boring. To me a 'drug dealers' job is unacceptable. Personally, I think NO legitimate job is unacceptable as long as it puts food on the table for my family! But that is where we disagree! For me marketing is my 'rozi'. I am proud to be in it. I excel in it. Do I care for detractors? NO! You feel a person with an Engg. background with MBA in mktg/finance who has spent a decade in industrial marketing should switch jobs. I disagree. It may take time. But he will get a job that requires his skills. Why would he throw away 10 years of experience?:( I know...

Our Native Country!: That's why I came to Canada

NO Canada: ...l for a different job. My decision to relocate back to India was because it was difficult for me to give up my Indian Citizenship (my identity) , I am everything because i was born in India. I did experience Canadian health care system and did not find it better, on the contrary i met a practicing nurse who would go ganja/weed every evening. The thought of blended families scares me. I do remember a declassified report which came out from UK Foreign office about Canadians and after my experience i agree to it. Back in India its 40 + everywhere but after two Canadian winters my body is thawing, i have stopped criticizing and started accepting things cultures and people. (J...
