   ... equivalent to Canadian study. I provided them with the photocopies of my degrees. My Post Graduate Diploma in Business Admin was evaluated as a Continuing studies (Bummer!). However, not sure if this equivalency works well for applying TN. Indian Universities are still at a far placed behind (ancient) when requesting for a sealed transcript. I get an anxiety attack everytime I think about requesting a sealed transcript from Delhi University if in case I need to enrolll myself in a higher studies here in Canada. <sigh>.

We are still renting, not gotten into mortgage, no fancy furnitures, no week ends at restaurant(if there is any urge we go to the international food court at the intersection of Hurantorio & Dundas). Long distance calls are limited. We have been very thoughtful & careful on our expenditure. Till to date we have been in basements at around $700 per month. Luckily I have a good CPA friend who guided me on a good mutual fund on aggressive mode, for us to earn very good returns. We are also spending $50 per month on Life-Term insurance for $250,00...

   ...ed and came to Canada. After a couple of months he got recruited by the counterpart of the Big 4 firm he worked in Pakistan. All I am trying to say is that no two persons experiences can be the same. I definitely don't want to say that a CA qualification is no good when yours truly is also just an Indian CA and is employed in his own field. I don't want to discourage anybody nor at the same time give a rosy view of things out here. The experiences of some of the people posted here are proof enough that some people have gone through some tough times but there are success stories as well. Regards Daks...
