Can someone advise me which place would be better for a simple desi and his wife? Kitchener would be a better choice over Markham due to cost of housing. The reason that I see is that India is getting lots and lots of money (being invested) much more than what USA is printing $. Hence as Rupee gets accumulated more, it is losing ground on the US $ which is not being printed as much as the Indian rupee. Compound that with the high interest rates here where your Rupee gets multiplied much more. It is so easy here to make 1 to 10 % profit on the stock market atleast once a week. Peace

Our Native Country!: India - Third Most Powerful Nation in World

... my experience in Canada, I think India should focus on fulfilling basic needs/issues of citizen - healthcare/poverty/illiteracy/infrastructure, if it really aims to be a global power in coming years. If Japan falls below India when it comes to power, does it mean Tata will start exporting cars to Japan, or Videocon starts exporting TV to Japan?

For some people it's not a big deal, but personally there are way too many restrictions by the strata agency. Shopping: Sending photo's to India (Cheapest way)

...'s to FreePostit(dot)com. I have sent many FREE pictures to India for the past 4 years. However, unfortunately the company has bankrupted and closed down. I need to send some pictures to India. Yesterday I printed 3 pictures at Walmart for $ 7:00 and the postage to send them to India was $ 7 which I think is very costly. Do CD's know any Indian companies doing this kind of service (sending hard copy pictures printed from soft copy pictures and then mailing it to the address in India) for a lower fee or otherwise which might be better than the above mentioned option. TIA (Thanks in Advance) Peace
