   ...If you don't have a PAN number, you can fill in Income tax form no. 60 the form is for people who don't have no PAN and want to do a transaction (I am not fully sure if buying property is also a transaction in there but logically it should be). We bought Indian shares via our bank and did not have a PAN no. this is the form the bank asked us to fill in.
