There can be issue if there is change in address from what is there in passport. in that case you need proof of new address and headache of police verification etc. Getting travel doc in your case will not be an issue, take along the COPR, your indian passport. (not reqd. but keep sin, DL and bank statement handy). If asked on form when returning to Canada, keep the return date within 15 days. you should be then not asked questions on expiry of passport. As regards CGI - I worked for CGI in Toronto for 7.5 years from 1996 to 2004. The Indian operations they have used to be IMR Global whch was bought out by CGI in 2001.
