They are applicable to every place in India except Bihar, where life outside a vehicle is only marginally safer. Indian road rules broadly operate within the domain of karma where you do your best, and leave the results to your insurance company. The hints are as follows : Do we drive on the left or right of the road? The answer is "both". Basically you start on the left of the road, unless it is occupied. In that case, go to the right, unless that is also occupied. Then proceed by occupying the next available gap, as in chess. Just trust your instincts, asc...

On the other hand, Apollo's relatively inexpensive medical services have benefited patients from several nations besides helping India 's overburdened health care system, the Wall Street Journal said. Come to think of it, all the aforementioned reasons are a direct result of the latter, i.e., corruption. Bribing is seen as the easiest way to get things done here, even if you are not doing anything illegal. As to Oil prices tanking, yes that is good for all. Unfortunately, it provides Saudi the taste of time to come. Else they would be bankrupt ...

Breaktime: ... After that came the real live spectacle with “Kya Mujhe Pyaar” setting the mood. As usual, the attendees grooved to the superlative moves and music. The first half of the show continued with the performers in brilliant costumes wowing the crowd with their display of Indian fusion, Broadway, Latin, pop, jazz, hip-hop, Bollywood and Hollywood. The dances were at times enhanced with amazing visual effects on a background screen. After a short break, the second half slammed into “Mind Blowing”, literally blowing the minds off everybody. Besides, as per my experience, if the returns are good, someone would stand as a co-signer. dudewheresmycar - Not sure whether you are well versed with the collateral policy that Indian banks have adopted lately. They are willing to give a max loan of 20 lakhs that too if I mortgage some property. If I don;t give them a cllateral, then max they are willing to shell out 5.5 lakhs. If I was a scamster, I wouldn't be going in for an MBA by asking around for assistance, would I?? diamond_n - Thanks for the advice. That is exactly the plan of action I am goi...

However, one should remember that multi-culturalism is at its best in the Urban areas of India only(like in Canada). Indian Secularism is another story and though largely successful is constantly challenged. Almost like that of the US (I refer to the vibrancy of the right wing in both countries) Canadian Secularism is more sound than India's at the current time. An overwhelming majority of the people believe in the separation of religion and state. Canadian Multiculturalism, in the broader sense, is again a work in progress. However, one must rememb...

U.S. tourists traveling to the countries whence their ancestors came will find that the money they saved up does not go as far as they thought. U.S. soldiers stationed overseas will find the cost of rent, gasoline, food, clothing and dining out takes larger and larger bites out of their paychecks. The people those U.S. soldiers defend will be demanding more and more of their money. U.S. diplomats stationed overseas, students and businessmen are already facing tougher times. U.S. foreign aid does not go as far as it did. And there is an element of comedy in seeing the United States going to Beijing to borrow dollars, thus putting o...
