I am told that they simply take away your PR card when they give you Citizenship Card/Certificate or if you do not have the PR card, then they VOID your IMM 1000 (landing document attached to your passport) and they do not bother about your Indian Passport. Now with the dual citizenship bill passed by India in Parliament (both houses) and waiting for just President's assent, you do not have to surrender your Indian Passport to Indian Counsulate as well. Indian consulate would update the website www.cgitoronto.ca as to what procedure to follow to keep both citizenships (if you want to) in a couple o...

   ...Bad planning....:p You cannot use your Indian passport to enter Canada anymore. It is illegal to even use the Indian passport. You can try to get emergency Canadian passport. Next working day. If you get citizenship on Thursday , you can get passport on Friday. Run to the Indian consulate for emergency visa. You should be able to make it... Best of luck!    More info. needed: ...T, More information is needed to answer your queries. Let me give you some information in general. KW area is hard hit by the recession wrt Automobile jobs. This means that 1/2 of the city is being affected. The other half is held by technology jobs. waterloo is one of the few areas in Canada where Tech. job hiring is going on in full swing.    Cuba: ... Check out the Blau Varadero resort. It is an excellent place with great ocean facing rooms, a huge swimming pool and good entertainment at night. The food in Cuba sucks, no spices, so take your own with you. More variety for non vegetarians but even there the food is bland. But there is a lot of fruit available in the buffets. Seven days is all you can take of Cuba. The beach at the Blau is smaller than others but the hotel staff is good and friendly.
