   ...The area between roughly bordered by Burnhamthorpe, Erin Mills Parkway, Collegeway and Glen Erin (around Walmart) has a bus depot, lots of shopping (groceries and otherwise). I am not sure about a halal shop but the Walmart/Foodbasics and No frills in the area might carry halal products. There are a few apartment buildings in the neighbourhood. It also has a community centre which is very convenient for activities for children/adults. I don't know about the schools in that area. The loblaws is at Eglington Avenue and Glen Erin. But still those who take canadian citizenship, I don't blame them as well. Think, if your kids are in preteens, parents don't want them to grow in this atmosphere but if they have canadian citizenship they can easily come to any country (US, Europe) if they want,when they grow up. So there is nothing wrong & now they can apply for OCI & regain the partial Indian citizenship as well. Love for your country is the people...

However when I printed a form from online it came up with $275 USD. So started looking at websites of Indian Consulate for other countries and found that in US you have to pay $275, in UK you pay 165 GBP ( approx $325) In Germany you pay 240 Frank (approx $340 USD) and in Sydney Australia you pay $396 AUD

For them its like a toy they wont care after a month and then you have to take care of all the chores , walking , food etc and by that you will be so emotionally attach to them you will don't want to leave..
