The Career Networking Mixer is designed to help people who are new to the workforce or looking to make a career change explore their occupational options. Attendees will be given the opportunity to learn about any one of the following professions firsthand through the experience of a mentor. Below is a list of each mentors profession with their industry in brackets:
• Accounting/Finance (Accounting Services)
• Civil and Industrial Engineering (Information Technology)
• Fundraising (Higher Education)
• Occupational Therapy (Health Services)
• Investment Finance (Pension and Investment Management)

• Teaching (Primary Education)
• Sales (Filtration for Biopharmaceutical/Food & Beverage)
• Civil Engineering (Power)
Attendees can interact with working professionals and learn about how to:
• Build confidence to connect with potential employers
• Develop informational interview skills
• Form valuable networks in the world of work
• Seek out professional development opportunities
• Develop a strong resume and cover letter
Mentors will share information about their occupations and offer practical, timely career advice.
