Hi,
I got the medical request from CIC for my PR in canada. I am going to book an appointment with a registered doctor in mississauga area. My question is will this examination be covered by OHIP or I have to pay for it? and Secondly, any preference for the doctors in missisauga based of user experiences in terms of behaviour and submission of test results to cic after medical test?
CIC also asked me is the my updated work history. Now, does this mean only the work history since I sent my PR application because I already sent my work history info to cic when I applied for PR?
And my query about available funds, should I just send the copy of my monthly bank statement or do I have to get any letter from my bank in canada?
Thanks in Advance

Quote:Statement should be sufficient, but ideally send both.

Hello james_4k2,
Congratulations for your medicals. My suggestions is all doctors has their own fees for medicals and some even ask to do x-ray with other doctor where they have tie up. Would recommend you to call bunch of doctors for 2 reasons.
1) for pricing and 2) when you getting an appointment.
As far as medical reports are concerned to sent to Ottawa it's more or less same for all the docs.
If need any more info on something, PM me.
Good luck.
Thanks silverlining and pratickm
