i have been in canada(montreal) for last three year but when it comes
filling tax don,t know how to deal with it... the reason y i am confused coz i have a protheses eye(an artificial eye) in my left side....i wanna to know if there is any special amount of tax return for this or any other service.....as it costed me CDN $2200. And i have to get new one after every five years.......and also if there is any special employment or any other social benefit for this kind of situation...as to clarify that my case does not come into a handicaped person
(especially like to listen from a person who have same situation as me much appreciated)

I guess your medical expense has to exceed 3% of your annual income to be adjusted in income tax of that particular year. Other benefits, person aware if it may comment.

You could claim disability if you can get a certificate from a doctor stating so. You should consider calling the CRA (!-800-959-8281)and enquiring about your situation.
