Sponsoring wife, once Landed in Canada
dear All,
I will be landing in Jan. 2008, plan to get PR Card and go homecountry to get married and do wedding ceremony and party and immediatly return to Canada to apply for Sponsorship for my wife:
1- is it acceptable to apply for sponsoring my wife while NOT Working - coz I will be looking for a JOB once I am back to Canada.
2- any advice in this regard, it is correct that I have enough time before landing, but actually I postponed my marriage and engagement until I reach Canada, so I do not breach or violate any immigration law regarding my PR Status.
your reply is highly appreciated
Hi radi1968,
your post is not quite clear.

hi all,
thanx for your reply and would like to clarify that the second marriage shall be with another women ofcourse and not with my first wife.
But wht about the financial matters, I will try my best to find a Job in order to support my self and new wife in Canada and provide a decent style of life for both.
my concern is: CIC could ask for TAX papers and apparently I dont have for being new immigration

One more thing - Pls advise,
I am also planning to sponsor my Mother first thing after Landing, so should I face any problem to have two sponsorship with CIC - or should I wait till I get approval for my wife sponsorship
I know that Parent sponsorship will last for 3 years and I hope to apply for my mother as soon as possible to gain some time,
any advice would help me prepare the documents needed for Parent sponsorship , thanks in advance
